Books on Wheels is Charlottesville for “Kickstand” Kickoff”: Friday, March 20th

6-8 p.m. at the Bridge Progressive Arts Initiative

Followed by SCAVENGER HUNT by bicycle!  (don’t forget your blinky light)

 Readings, Music by Accordian Death Squad (traditional Ratslyvanian biker band), make your own bike inner tube wallets, raffle, snacks AND…

 **Special guests:  Books On Wheels over from Richmond

And local artist and bicyclist, Purl with a fabulous puppet show!

 Community Bikes, ACCT and friends have created a little, spunky publication packed full of stories, poems, and pics that highlight the fun and amazing possibilities when we travel by bike—all in perfect time to welcome spring and encourage potential bikers everywhere to haul out that two wheeled beauty……

Books on Wheels is a charitable organization based in the Richmond Metro Area which gives away free books, bikes and bike tune-ups.
