Books on Wheel reaches 2010 goal of providing 10,000 books!
Hello Friends! Books on Wheels is excited to announce that we have gone beyond our goal by providing 11,665 books to local organizations in 2010. We are very grateful to have worked with over 45 organizations in providing free books and free bicycle repair this year, and are gearing up for the new year to do even more! As always, thank you for your support and dedication to our small non-profit in accomplishing this goal and continuing to grow in 2011. As you all know, this could not have happened with out the help of all of our supporters. As we approach the end of the year, I would like to let everyone know a few ways they can help out Books on Wheels in our upcoming Spring/Summer 2011 season. A few ways YOU can contribute to Books on Wheels: 2. Donate Money. Gas and bus repairs require money to keep bring books and bicycle repair to the public! Our website has a donate page that has all the details. www.booksonwheels.org 7 w. Broad St. (between Foushee and Adams on Broad) Richmond, VA 23220 Open Monday-Saturday 11-6 pm 6. Tell your friends and family about Books on Wheels! Books on Wheels is a community funded non-profit organization and is very grateful for the contributions to keep us on the road!!! Again, thank you for your support and looking forward to seeing you in the new year!
1.Hold a BOOK DRIVE or collect books from your home and donate them to Books on Wheels. Visit our DONATE page on the website for details of our drop off locations (or see the address for our THRIFT STORE below). www.booksonwheels.org
3. DONATE to our thrift store, Books, Bikes, and Beyond. The store is located at 7 W. Broad St. Richmond, VA 23220 and takes gently used clothes, books, bikes, household items and such any time we are open.
