A few ways YOU can contribute to Books on Wheels: 2. Donate Money. Gas and bus repairs require money to keep bring books and bicycle repair to the public! Tell your friends and family about Books on Wheels! Books on Wheels is a community funded non-profit organization and is very grateful for the contributions to keep us on the road!!!
1.Hold a BOOK DRIVE or collect books from your home and donate them to Books on Wheels. Visit our DONATE page on the website for details of our drop off locations (or see the address for our THRIFT STORE below). www.booksonwheels.org
3. DONATE to our thrift store, Books, Bikes, and Beyond. The store is located at 7 W. Broad St. Richmond, VA 23220 and takes gently used clothes, books, bikes, household items and such any time we are open. Great Event at J.L. Francis Elementary!
Thanks to Alex Nelson and the crew at J.L. Francis Elementary School for a wonderful event on June 13th. Books on Wheels gave away over 400 books to students during the “Book Tasting”! Happy summer reading!!

Books on Wheels Summer Schedule!
Dear Friends and Supporters, It has been a very busy winter and spring for Books on Wheels and our thrift store, Books, Bikes, and Beyond Thrift, and thanks to all your support we are looking forward to a great summer! We are very excited about the upcoming summer schedule for Books on Wheels in Richmond. Here are our currently booked local dates: July 12th East End Library 3-6 pm July 13th Calhoun Center 3-6 pm July 29th The Robinson Theater 6-8 pm August 1st Main St. Library 10-12 pm August 4th Broad Rock Library TIME TBA If anyone has any interest in a visit from Books on Wheels this summer, we still are available for booking events, so please feel free to contact us at booksonwheelsva@yahoo.com. We appreciate your continued support in our efforts to provide free books and free bicycle repair to the Richmond community. As always, we accept donations of gently used books and bicycles at our Thrift Store located at 7 W. Broad St. where all proceeds go directly back to Books on Wheels! As our summer events develop into the fall, we will be in touch with our work in the community. Thank you again and enjoy the summer!
